Sacred Stories Psychotherapy is a private psychotherapy practice dedicated to helping individuals explore, understand, and reclaim the stories that have shaped their lives. Many people seek therapy during times of pain, transition, or uncertainty—when familiar ways of coping no longer feel supportive, or when past experiences begin to feel overwhelming in the present.

Grounded in compassion and clinical integrity, Sacred Stories offers a safe and respectful space where clients can engage in therapeutic work at their own pace. Reclaiming one’s story is not about erasing the past, but about developing greater awareness, choice, and agency in the present. Through a collaborative and intentional therapeutic process, clients are supported in reclaiming authorship of their lives and shaping the chapters they are currently living with greater clarity and self-trust.

The practice is committed to fostering emotional resilience, deepened self-awareness, and meaningful, lasting change. Healing is approached as a partnership that honours each client’s lived experience, strengths, and capacity for growth.

Areas of specialization include, but are not limited to, PTSD, trauma, relationship challenges, men’s issues, anxiety, grief, depression, substance use and addictions. You do not have to navigate this chapter alone. Sacred Stories Psychotherapy would be honoured to walk beside you as you move toward healing and a more grounded, authentic sense of self.

What are your fees?
Fees may vary depending on the services. Please check out the booking page to see the cost for services. A sliding scale option may also available for clients that qualify. Please reach out to inquire about this. “Booking Page”
Do you offer Direct Billing?
Currently, we do not offer direct billing. An invoice will be provided after a session that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Please double check with your insurance provider to ensure that you are aware of your plans coverage for psychotherapy services.
How long are sessions?
Unless other arrangements are made, a therapeutic session is 50 mins. This allows for the clinician to have the remaining 10mins to complete their notes and prepare for their next client.
How often will I need to have sessions?
This will vary depending on the client. Generally, it is best if a client can meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis when initially starting therapy to help build rapport and work towards desired goals.
